I searched everywhere for a 4” capacity bearing splitter for 2016 GM 12 Bolt with 3-1/2” bearings. That one never came up for me. I would’ve gotten that, but ended up using a grinder, Dremel, and oxy acetylene torch for all 3 bearing removals. The Lisle 59400 Race Driver set just might be very essential in my case. The standard 9 piece 40-60$ (all metric) sets don’t have the right driver adapter for pinion races. The Lisle races are SAE with extra long handles and an air hammer attachment. Giving the Lisle set a try today to hopefully get into preload and backlash. It’ll be interesting to see how Carrier Shims go without those driver tools. Good video 👍🏼 wish I’d have seen it sooner. How bout Gear Marking Compound? That’s essential. We bought a bearing race and seal set from GM dealership and still had to get AC Delco compound on Amazon. Took a few days even with Prime. Was going to use grey anti seize until there was down time anyway on race driver delivery.

Ha,ha,ha, 😂 I took out my ring/pinion cause felt like someone's tapping me backwards, Shit ring seemed bit worn, Hell dam pinion was like rounded like weiner that's being nice about it. And play in I was lucky it wasn't really leaking gear oil, Now it all apart obtaining New gears either Summit racing or if rock auto computers don't drive me Nuts to get parts 🤔

How do you recommend breaking in the front clamshell on the 3rd Gen Tacoma? There is a lot of "He said/She said" out there. Do the front gears spin while in 2WD or do we need to get out on a gravel/snowy road in 4WD and do the break in process for the front as well?

And it seems no one has a clue when I ask questions. Work shop manual says it has a sleeve and shims. What is the correct tourqe setting for pinion flange nut? Work shop manual says 180--200 ft lbs

My friend was telling me that I can purchase complete units ,Diffs, front and rear with the ratios I want . I could do the removal and installation , then I could send back my Diffs for credit? Any direction on this could greatly help, and again that you for your channel.

I have a 2003 3500 DRW on 22' and 33" tires and pulling my 40ft toy hauler up hills I'm heating up. I believe I have stock 3.73's so would 4.10's be a good set to put in?

If just changing leaking pinion shaft seal just tighten it up. If it takes 200 lbs to crush it, you can tighten to 100 which is tight on the old parts. I have changed hundreds of seals and tightened the nut as tight as I could with regular 1/2 inch rachet. I don't know how you can accidently torque to 200 lbs to crush it further. If any rear end went out, I was never told about it. Complete disassembly and new bearings and such needs new sleeve. Just replacing the seal, just tighten the nut, you don't need a torque wrench.

What size suspension lift do I need?

It's only been a day since install and alignment, but what a huge difference! My last setup was a pain to get it aligned properly and could not hold up to my offroad use. I will update after I have used your product for a while, but so far so good.
